Hanoi – Sapa – Catba – Ninh Binh 6 days/7 nights

20.30 PM:  Our tour guide comes to pick you up from your hotel then transfer to Ha Noi Railway Station and catch the night train to Lao Cai (overnight on the train, the cabin with 4 berths, soft sleeper, and air-conditioning).

Inclusion: Hotel pick-up, Hanoi – Lao Cai night train ticket

Arrive Lao Cai train in 5:30 or 6:00 AM. Picked up and drive up to Sapa town.  First of all, get shower, luggage store and then enjoy breakfast at our hotel in Sapa. – Trek down to Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai village of the black H’mong people.

After a picnic lunch, keep on alongside Muong Hoa stream, over suspension bridges to Ta Van village of the Dzay people. – Keep trekking to Cau May (Rattan Suspension bridge) – Giang Ta Chai.

Visit and stay overnight with a local family of the Dzay minority. You can join with the tour guide and the house owners to cook Vietnamese food for dinner. – Enjoying your dinner and getting to know local typical traditional customs, culture….

In the early morning you will be sure to be woken up by the households but lucky to see how is their daily life for a new day coming! Enjoy some pancakes made by your tour guide’s skillful hands.

Start a new trek into Hoang Lien Son National Park by more stunning landscapes and other ethnic minority villages dotted further your eyes sigh.

Visit Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dao minority and then continue that trail to Su Pan village for lunch. – Enjoy magnificent scenery of Ban Ho valley as trekking down to Ban Ho village – Diner and overnight with a Tay family in Ban Ho

Discover and see more villages that are considered to be unexplored, untouched by travelers. – Learn more about the Xa Pho group on a loop back to the main road where a van will return you to the hotel at Sapa for collecting the luggage and taking shower.

Have your own dinner & visit Sapa town at your leisure time.

8.00 PM: Get picked up by sleeping bus to Catba.

6. 00 AM: Arrive in Cat Ba town. Take shower & have breakfast at the hotel. Free time to visit Cat Ba town.

11.00 AM: Get on boat & start cruising. The boat will take you around Cai Beo – one of the most ancient & largest floating villages in Vietnam where you can see the daily life activities  of the local-fishermen

Say goodbye to the fishermen,  keep cruising on  the hidden route to the most scenic areas of Lan Ha Bay with hundreds of beautiful limestone islands such as: Turtle island, Thumb rock, Budda rock, Pen Islet, ect…

12.00 AM: Anchor the boat near one of the most  secluded beaches at Van Boi beach that be away from the other group to do swimming. Take part in swimming  compitition  by jumping from the sundeck of the boat into water, then swim to the beach. The winner will get 2 free beers for lunch

12.30 AM: Have lunch on boat ( Vegerarian &vegan food are catered upon request). After lunch, you will have a bit time for a short rest on sundeck or go swimming.

14.00 PM: Cross the border between Lan Ha & Ha Long, then

Continue cruising to the unique part of Ha Long Bay where you can admire the amazing landscapes or stunning shapes like: Candle rock, Seal Islet, Cock fighting Island, King Kong Island, Frog-rock, etc….

15.00 PM: Stop at Hang Ca area for kayaking. Here you will paddle the kayak  through 3 different stalactite caves: Dark cave, Bat cave & Bright cave to explore the hidden & peaceful lagoon where you can occasionally catch monkey-jumping or Catba Langur – the white headed dangered monkey.

17.00: Enjoy Sunset party with wine & local fresh-fruit (already include in the tour price) and relax yourself on sundeck while the boat continue cruise you to see another part of Ha Long bay.

18.00 PM: Anchor at calm & quite place where is far away from the other big cruises for diner & overnight.

8.00 AM: Wake up to see the dawn on the bay & enjoy breakfast with Vietnamese tea or coffee.

8.45 AM: Today, our boat will cruise further to explore one of the most  deserted & less touristic part of Ha Long Bay called Cong Tau lagoon. Enjoy the natural beauty of hundreds of limestone islands.  You hardly see other tourists at this area.

10.30: Keep cruising to one of the most  secluded beaches at Ba Trai Dao area ( Three Peaches) that be away from the other group to do swimming & snorkling ( if the tide permit).Have lunch on boat.

13.00: Get on boat & return to Cat Ba town.

14.00 : Get on hydrofoil to Hai Phong.

15.00: Get picked up by our driver by your name-sign, then drive to Ninh Binh

18.00: Arrive in Tam Coc. Dinner & Overnight at the hotel/homestay in Tam Coc.

Inclusion: Hydrofoil tickets, private car, hotel/homestay, all meals as indicated ( B= Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner)

8.00 AM: After your breakfast, our local guide will take you to explore Tam Coc that refered to as “Ha Long Bay on land”. It is the best time to visit Tam Coc in the early morning as you will be staying away from the crowd.

Take a bamboo boat rowed by local people on Hoang Long river to discover Tam Coc ( Three caves). It takes around 2 hours rowing up and down the river to pass through three caves. Along the river, you will have chance to see local fisherfolk, rural daily life and the natural landscapes formed by limestone karrst moutains.

10.30 AM: Drive to visit Bich Dong (Jade Cave) with 3 pagodas Lower Pagoda, Middle Pagoda and Upper Pagoda located on the mountain

12.00 PM: Check out the hotel/homestay. Have lunch at the local restaurant.

13.30 PM: Start cycling from Tam Coc to Hoa Lu citadel ( 10 km) . The biking trip takes you to visit local villages, rice fields and many beautiful limestone mountains on the way

15.00 PM: Visit Hoa Lu – the Ancient Royal capital of Viet Nam. We will visit Dinh king temple and Le king temple. The local guide will help you to learn more about  the heroic histories of these two Kings in Chinese Wars.

15.30 PM: Get on car to drive back to Hanoi.

17.30 PM: Get dropped off at your hotel in Hanoi. Tour ends.
