Hanoi – Cat Ba – Ha Long 3 days/2 nights: Trekking + Kayaking

6. 30 AM: Get picked up at your hotel by private car, then drive to Hai Phong – the sea port city ( the best time to avoid crazy traffic jam in Hanoi)

9.00 AM: Get on speedboat (hydrofoil) from Hai Phong to Cat Ba
10.00 AM: Arrive at Cat Ba. Get picked up by local guide by your name-sign. Have a coffee break or walk to visit Cat Ba town a bit.

11.00 AM: Get on boat & start cruising. The boat will take you around Cai Beo – one of the most ancient & largest floating villages in Vietnam where you can see the daily life activities of the local-fisherman.

Say goodbye to the fishermen,  keep cruising on  the hidden route to the most scenic areas of Lan Ha Bay with hundreds of beautiful limestone islands such as: Turtle island, Thumb rock, Budda rock, Pen Islet, ect…

12.00 AM: Anchor the boat near one of the most  secluded beaches at Van Boi beach that be away from the other group to do swimming. Take part in swimming  compitition  by jumping from the sundeck of the boat into water, then swim to the beach. The winner will get 2 free beers for lunch

12.30 AM: Have lunch on boat ( Vegerarian &vegan food are catered upon request). After lunch, you will have a bit time for a short rest on sundeck or go swimming.

14.00 PM: Cross the border between Lan Ha & Ha Long, then Continue cruising to the unique part of Ha Long Bay where you can admire the amazing landscapes or stunning shapes like: Candle rock, Seal Islet, Cock fighting Island, King Kong Island, Frog-rock, etc….

15.00 PM: Stop at Hang Ca area for kayaking. Here you will paddle the kayak  through 3 different stalactite caves: Dark cave, Bat cave & Bright cave to explore the hidden & peaceful lagoon where you can occasionally catch monkey-jumping or Catba Langur – the white headed dangered monkey.

17.00: Enjoy Sunset party with wine & local fresh-fruit (already include in the tour price) and relax yourself on sundeck while the boat continue cruise you to see another part of Ha Long bay.

18.00 PM: Anchor at calm & quite place where is far away from the other big cruises for diner & overnight.

8.00 AM: Wake up to see the dawn on the bay & enjoy breakfast with Vietnamese tea or coffee.

8.45 AM: Today, our boat will cruise further to explore one of the most  deserted & less touristic part of Ha Long Bay called Cong Tau lagoon. Enjoy the natural beauty of hundreds of limestone islands.  You hardly see other tourists at this area.

10.30: Keep cruising to one of the most  secluded beaches at Ba Trai Dao area ( Three Peaches) that be away from the other group to do swimming & snorkling ( if the tide permit).

12.00: Have lunch on boat. Take a short rest on sundeck or on the sandy beach.

14.00 Get on boat to move to Viet Hai – the isolated fishing  village located on the heart of Catba National Park.

15.00: Start walking or cycling to Viet Hai Village inside Catba National Park. This tour helps you undersand how locals make their livings while the whole village surrounded by the moutains.

17.00PM: Check in Local homestay. Enjoy your leisure time at peaceful homestay. Dinner & Overnight at the homestay.

7.30 AM: Have breakfast at homestay

8.00 AM: Today, we will do a hard trek ( around 4 -4,5 hours) to venture the most “off the beaten path” area on the island.

Walk thoughthe village to meet & observe the local people do farming and experience their daily life. Stop at a small stream at the end of the village and enjoy a peaceful moment by dropping your feet under the water of the cool stream. The small fish will  help you massage your feet and legs.

Say goodbye Viet Hai village, we are entering the jungle. keep trekking  up and down through the tropical forests and green valleys. This area is really  an “off the beaten track” where you hardly see other tourists. Enjoy bird-watching, butter-fly flying, squirel – dancing or even catching Cat Ba Langur if you are lucky.

12.00: Get picked up by private car then drive back to Cat Ba town.

12.30: Have lunch at local restaurant in Cat Ba town.

14.00 : Get on hydrofoil to Hai Phong.

15.00: Get picked up by our driver by your name-sign, then drive back to Hanoi.

17.00: Get dropped off at your hotel in Hanoi. Tour ends.
